If you had the power to change one law, what would it be and why?

If I had the power to change one law, it would be giving child molesters a life sentence without parole. As a survivor of child molestation, I understand the harm that it causes the psyches of children. When I was 40 years old, I came to the realization that I would never be able to have a normal relationship with a man because I don’t trust them. That realization made me sad, and almost 14 years later, it still makes me sad. I think everyone wants a soulmate and I truly hope that it’s a man out here that will change my mind but so far, I haven’t been able to find one. But don’t feel sorry for me because I’m surrounded by love but it’s not romantic but communal. Perhaps it’s a fella in the world who will sweep me off my feet and change my perspective and I hope so.
