What is the legacy you want to leave behind?

The legacy that I want to leave behind is one of immense courage. When I leave this earth and become an ancestor, I want people to remember me as a woman who overcame a lot of obstacles in life but always managed to keep striving. It takes a lot of courage to survive in a world that was never created for you and I have. Loss of loved ones, financial strife, health challenges, I’ve been through it all, and then some but I’m still here. And when it’s my time to float off into the universe, please remember me as the feisty, short little chick who at times didn’t have two nickels to rub together but always had the courage to begin again. And again.
