So today, I was denied once again by disability who determined that I can work. Despite losing some cognitive function due to the medication I take for epilepsy, despite being diagnosed with anxiety, and osteoarthritis, despite being diagnosed with cataracts, and despite being 54 years old and living in a society that has contempt for anyone over the age of thirty, especially women, the system has determined that they can get a few more years out of my blind, crippled, and crazy ass.

For the reasons above, that’s why this country ain’t. They literally expect people to work until the day they die. Fuck your disability! Get your ass out here and work for these rich motherfuckers.

So what if you can barely get out of bed on some mornings. So what if your knees hurt so bad that you are taking ten ibuprofen pills every day.

So what if you’re paranoid every time you ride public transportation because you have anxiety and fear having a seizure while riding public transportation.

We live in a country that doesn’t give a fuck about the citizens, the same citizens who pay taxes. This is a country that doesn’t give a fuck about the poor, women, children, the elderly, or the disabled. This is a country who ain’t shit, never been shit, and is never going to be shit.

But what can you expect from a country that built its wealth on the stealing of lands from the original inhabitants and the exploitation and oppression of slaves. Absolutely nothing.
