On May 17, 2009, a tiny black kitten entered the world. For the next seventeen years, he filled one family on the South Side of Chicago with more love, laughter, and joy than anyone could have imagined.

He ruled the house with the confidence of a king, entertained them daily with his endless shenanigans, and somehow convinced them that they were the lucky ones to live in his home.

But time is undefeated. It comes for all of us, no matter how deeply we are loved.

And one day, this precious, sweet little king closed his golden eyes for the last time and made his journey across the Rainbow Bridge, leaving behind paw prints on the hearts of everyone who loved him and memories that seventeen years could never erase.
