I’ve never been good at marketing myself.

For years, low self-esteem had me defining myself by where I started: teenage mother. Welfare recipient. High school dropout. I honestly thought I was the lowest of the low.

Then I went to college in 2002 and discovered something about myself:

I could write my ass off. 😂

I discovered that I was a thinker. I had critical-thinking skills, intellectual curiosity, and a gift for taking thoughts, experiences, and complicated ideas and turning them into words.

It has taken me years to stop minimizing those gifts.

So I’m doing something that scares me a little.

I’m officially offering my services as a professional writer and editor.
